2 new stills from DAYBREAKERS
The kind people over at Lionsgate sent us two new stills from the upcoming vampire flick DAYBREAKERS. As you can see above, Willem Dafoe, along with Ethan Hawke, are living up to their title as “the folks with the crossbows.” In the other, Mr. Hawke looks on broodingly as he attempts to find a cure for the world’s epidemic. A world in which near everyone is a blood-sucking vampire and the epidemic is that they are running out of blood. It is up to Hawke’s character to find a blood substitute or another cure or face the evolution of the vampire race into monstrous, cannibalistic creatures.
DAYBREAKERS, which three of us Gordon and the Whalers have seen and loved, hits theaters January 8, 2010. The film was written and directed by The Spierig Brothers, who brought us the B-movie zombie/alien flick UNDEAD, which had a nice little endorsement from Peter Jackson.
