Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Seth Grahame-Smith shocked people with the brilliant idea of a novel titled “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.” The rights to turn that novel into a film instigated a war between production companies. Well the author is now back with his latest mash-up, “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.” This story sounds to good to be true. I always thought Abe would make a great fighter, but I never pictured him in the Buffy role.
This project is destined to be picked up by a studio (the author’s agents are already shopping around studios) and I am sure news on a movie deal isn’t too far off. It will be a tricky one, more so than the Jane Austen meets zombies flick. This film will have to delicately mix history, horror, fantasy, gore, humor and more in a believable and entertaining way. I do hope it is done soon, and done well. What do you all think?
