Amazing Black Dynamite trailer
I’m just talkin’ ’bout BLACK DYNAMITE. Can you dig it? I’m not sure how this movie has been flying under the radar, but our Whale-in-Chief, Chase, spotted it and I couldn’t be happier. The film tells “the story of 1970’s action legend Black Dynamite. When “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.” How cool does that sound? Best of all, director Scott Sanders is taking a page from the Tarantino handbook and filming it retro — blaxploitation-style (much like DEATH PROOF). Before you check out the trailer, I must warn you that there is nudity and you might want to send the kids out of the room first. The movie will hit theaters sometime in 2009, we’ll keep an eye out for a release date. Check out their website for the trailer, posters and a brief history of blaxploitation cinema.
