Amy Adams is a FIGHTER
Amy Adams is everywhere these days. That’s not a bad thing. Besides being gorgeous, she’s also an incredibly gifted, and now it looks like she’ll be bringing that talent to THE FIGHTER. This movie has been making its way around the blogosphere for awhile now, first with Darren Aronofsky directing. That didn’t pan out, however, and now David O. Russell is taking over as the director of the production, which starts filming later this summer.
Adams will join Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg. The film “tells the story of Ward’s (Wahlberg) early days on the rough streets of Lowell, Mass., and how he was helped to the world lightweight championship by his half-brother (Bale).” Sounds like a winner and hopefully, if Russell can keep his road rage off the set, we’ll see it in theaters soon.
