Anchor Bay to release THE SLAMMIN’ SALMON

The funny boys behind Broken Lizard has finally found a distributor for their fourth theatrical release, THE SLAMMIN’ SALMON. Anchor Bay (who released the DVD for the original HALLOWEEN), picked up the rights and is planning on a December theatrical release.
SALMON is directed by Kevin Heffernan (who wrote other Broken Lizard flicks SUPER TROOPERS, BEERFEST, CLUB DREAD, and the just-announced SUPER TROOPERS 2) and it is his directorial debut. The large cast includes the Broken Lizard crew (Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske), Michael Clarke Duncan, Cobie Smulders, April Bowlby, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Olivia Munn, Will Forte, Lance Henriksen, Vivica A. Fox, and Morgan Fairchild.
The story centers on a former heavyweight boxing champ (Duncan), now restaurant owner, who challenges his wait staff to sell more food in one night than they’ve ever done before to clear a debt with the Japanese Mob.
