Anna Faris is WEDDING BANNED
Recently, our own Wilhem Oliva told you that Anna Faris will “play a nature documentarian who pays a visit to Jellystone Park, only to encounter a mischievous talking bear with a fondness for pic-a-nic baskets” in the upcoming YOGI BEAR feature. Now, I get to tell you all about another project the very funny woman will be starring in, the soon-to-be-shooting romantic comedy, WEDDING BANNED.
It has been a while since we have last talked about the movie WEDDING BANNED. I informed you readers back in August that the project had already picked up its first big name, funny man Robin Williams.
For those of you who cannot remember, WEDDING BANNED tells the story of a divorced couple who kidnap their own daughter in order to thwart her attempts to make a matrimonial mistake, just like theirs. During all the comedic antics of avoiding the men in badges and the quite furious groom, the divorced Mommy and Daddy rekindle their long-lost love. Does that mean Faris will then be returned to her disgruntled groom and finish the vows? I guess we will just have to wait and find out.
As you could probably guess, Robin Williams will play the divorced dad, and Anna Faris will play his bride-to-be-daughter. WEDDING BANNED has now roped down two of the film’s main characters, but there is still left to be cast. Who is going to play the estranged wife of Robin Williams? Who is going to play the groom that has his wife-to-be kidnapped by his psychotic in-laws-to-be? All these questions are going to have to hang in the air for now, but I am sure that we will be able to announce more casting decisions concerning WEDDING BANNED before too long.
