Another new KICK-ASS poster
Yesterday, the internet was abuzz with our first look at the long-awaited KICK-ASS teaser trailer. And just last week, we got a very cool set of character posters for the film. Today, the goodies keep rolling in, as we get a brand-new character poster that gives us a fresh look at our titular KICK-ASS, Dave Lizewski (as played by Aaron Johnson).
This newest poster brings Dave right back down to Earth, and literally in the dumps. Our last look at Dave was in full Kick-Ass mode, gazing down at his fair city, ready to (you guessed it!) kick ass. The reality of Dave’s situation (as in, he’s not a superhero and he has no superpowers) makes up a large part of the film, and this new poster reflects that. Dave is bloody and bruised, but he can still “kick your ass.”

My fingers are crossed that this really is the first in a new set of down-to-earth character posters for KICK-ASS, I’d love to see Chloe Moretz’s Hit-Girl in a real world situation, seething with rage.
