Brad Pitt’s Plan B to develop DARK VOID
Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B, has a plan to develop a feature-length film based on the Capcom video game DARK VOID. The deal is being set up with the potential to be a franchise, with the possibility of Pitt starring as the story’s hero.
That hero being William Augustus Grey, a pilot who crash lands his aircraft in the mysterious Bermuda Triangle, only to find he has somehow been transported to a parallel universe that appears to be a primitive form of Earth. If that wasn’t enough, the planet is under the threat of a once-banished alien civilization called The Watchers, who possess advanced weaponry and technology. Lucky for us and unlucky for the aliens, the pilot has a jetpack! And the pilot is Brad Pitt (maybe)!
DARK VOID, the game, will hit stores January 12, 2010 and will be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
From the sound of it, this sounds like “Lost” meets THE ROCKETEER meets PLANET OF THE APES. And yes, I agree. This does sound bad ass!
