Bradley Cooper or Jason Segel could join Cameron Diaz in BAD TEACHER
Team Segel or Cooper? That's what it appears to have come down to for BAD TEACHER. It is rumored that Jason Segel and Bradley Cooper are competing for the role of the romantic interest and co-star of the film. Cameron Diaz is already attached to star in the film. Segel and Cooper aren't exactly interchangeable in my opinion, but I could see how both of them would fit the role quite nicely.
BAD TEACHER will center around Diaz, who plays a “foulmouthed, gold-digging middle-school teacher who, after getting dumped by her boyfriend, competes with a colleague for the affections of the school’s model teacher.”
Personally, I'm glad to see Cameron Diaz getting back to comedic acting. I had no interest in seeing her most recent films, MY SISTER’S KEEPER and THE BOX.
BAD TEACHER was written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, who also write for “The Office” and have penned the upcoming GHOSTBUSTERS sequel.
