Brandon Routh’s contract to play Supes has expired, but don’t count him out
Sure, Brandon Routh's contract to play Superman in the next installment (that we're still in the dark about) may have expired, but don't count the man (of steel) out just yet.
In an interview for the Spanish-language site Omelete, Routh told them, "the term of the contract expired, but if they (Warner Bros.) call me again, I'd go back to the character without thinking twice!"
I really, really hope Warner Bros. makes the right choice in bringing back Routh. From his goofy facial expressions as Clark Kent, to his supreme stature as Superman, he looked uncannily like a young Christopher Reeve. Do me this solid WB, bring 'em back.
