    30 days

Bloody Disgusting has gotten exclusive casting knowledge about the 30 DAYS OF NIGHT sequel. And for a straight-to-DVD movie, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DARK DAYS, has gotten some pretty decent cast members.

Two men probably best known for TV roles, Rhys Coiro and Harold Perrineau, are confirmed to be in the sequel. Coiro occasionally makes an appearance on “Entourage” as Billy Walsh, the brilliant and temperamental director of QUEENS BOULEVARD and MEDELLIN. Perrineau played the character of Michael Dawson on “Lost.”

Mia Kirshner, like Coiro and Perrineau, has also done some notable TV work, playing a major role on “The L Word.” Kirshner also portrayed the murder victim at the center of Brian De Palma’s THE BLACK DAHLIA, as well the spoof version of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s character from CRUEL INTENTIONS in NOT ANOTHER TV MOVIE.

Also added to the DARK DAYS cast is Kiele Sanchez, who appeared in the recent A PERFECT GETAWAY, and like Perrineau, was on “Lost” (although her “Lost” character, Nikki Fernandez, wasn’t in nearly as many episodes as Perrineau’s Michael Dawson). Diora Baird from the horror prequel THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING, and the horror spoof STAN HELSING, is the final casting move known today.
