Ladies and gentlemen, we at gordonandthewhale.com proudly present our very first interview that took place on an escalator, and we're even more proud that our interviewee was Ben Steinbauer, writer and director of the super-cool documentary, WINNEBAGO MAN.

I think one of my favorite moments in GATW interview history is the what-seems-perfectly-planned-but-it-was-so-not moment of Ben saying "it's kind of like this" which leads to the reveal of the most hilarious and awkward looking moment from the two people who are totally unsure of what is even going on in this moment in question. Not only that, but Mr. Ben Astutebauer used it so eloquently as a perfect example for the question at hand.
