They rolled out the red carpet and pulled out all the stops for the opening night of CineVegas 2009, as actors, directors, and an acutrama of pretty people turned out for the premiere of SAINT JOHN OF LAS VEGAS at Planet Hollywood. On hand were Sarah Silverman, Romany Malco (40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN, WEEDS), and director Hue Rhodes, who stopped by to talk for a few minutes. As a side note, Romany earned his place as one of the top 10 plugs in GATW history. You will want to see this.
And, as a very special treat, Gordon and the Whale got a semi-exclusive red carpet interview with Samm Levine of FREAKS & GEEKS fame. Samm, one of the basterds in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming INGLORIOUS BASTERDS, gave us a few tidbits about his role in what he called Tarantino’s “opus.”
Oh yeah, and Carrot Top is awesome.
