Clooney might be one of the THE DESCENDANTS
Oscar winner, movie star, and the unofficial King of Handsome, George Clooney, is in talks to play the lead in Alexander Payne’s dramedy THE DESCENDANTS. If he signs on to the project, Clooney would play a man who takes his two daughters with him on his journey to find his wife’s lover, with the intentions of getting his family back together.
Payne hasn’t directed a feature film since 2004’s SIDEWAYS, but he did direct a segment in PARIS, JE T’AIME. Before SIDEWAYS, Payne made ABOUT SCHMIDT, which has one of the most memorable endings I have ever seen, as well as the high school election comedy, ELECTION. Payne is also an executive producer on the TV series “Hung,” and directed the show’s pilot.
What I’m getting at is Alexander Payne is awesome, and I would love to see him direct George Clooney in a feature film. What about you? But then again it might be hard to believe that anyone could leave someone that looks like George Clooney (half-joking, half-sexually confused).
