When Noah Baumbach’s new film GREENBERG was announced, the main reason why I was excited about this was the fact that LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy was scoring original music for it. The man is a lyrical genius (if you’re 25 or older, listen to Soundsytem’s “Losing My Edge” and you will agree with me) and I purchase every vinyl they release. It’s Women’s History Month, I have a sweet ol’ mother who has a thick Texas twang and a love for Paula Deen, and Bong Joon-ho’s MOTHER is opening (limited) this Friday, so let’s celebrate! If you liked the story of CLOVERFIELD, then you will be very satisfied with this film.
