• Could Danny Boyle want Katie Featherston of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY for 127 HOURS?

I’m not surprised at all that the amazing Katie Featherston would make it big time after PARANORMAL ACTIVITY came out. She gave one of the most real performances I’ve seen in a very long time. Apparently Danny Boyle liked her too, as she auditioned for a part in 127 HOURS and read a scene with him.

We reported earlier that Danny Boyle was making a film called 127 HOURS starring James Franco as Aron Ralston. Ralston is a mountain climber who was pinned underneath a boulder for five days, and amputated his arm to survive. The film is supposed to be very realistic, and will even feature an hour without dialogue. Featherston would fit right into the realistic tone, as she has proven her ability in that arena before.

For some reason, I’ve always doubted Danny Boyle’s movies before I see them, and every single one surprises me greatly. I think this is the first one I haven’t ever doubted at all. I really hope Katie Featherston gets this role, it would be great for her.
