CRAZY HEART gets a poster
As Chase told us last week, CRAZY HEART is the last release from Fox Searchlight this year, and it looks to be an important movie for the studio. Their recent releases, such as AMELIA and WHIP IT!, haven’t garnered as much award show buzz as they’d probably hoped.
CRAZY HEART, though, seems to have what it takes. The early reviews have been positive and there’s even been talk of an Academy Award nomination for Jeff Bridges, his first in over two decades. As evident from the beautifully lit image on the poster, the movie is about a broken-down country singer named Bad Blake who is able to put his life back together.
The film obviously stars Bridges, but it also boasts an impressive casts that includes Maggie Gyllenhaal, Colin Farrell, and Robert Duvall. Look for it to start arriving in theaters some time next month, just in time for award season.
