Crispin Glover in Wonderland
Just when you thought the casting of Burton’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND couldn’t get cooler, here comes Crispin “McFly” Glover to spice things up! He will be playing the Knave of Hearts in the film, a character who I know nothing about. According to Wikipedia, he a character who is put on trial for robbery, so his part may not be very big. Still, it’s better than nothing. I’m frankly surprised he’s never been in a Tim Burton movie, since he certainly has that “look.” You know the one I mean.
Also interesting, the Knave is from the book “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” while the Red and White Queens are from the sequel “Through the Looking-Glass.” It looks like Tim Burton might be combining elements from both books to make his film.
