De Niro pushed over the Edge
EDGE OF DARKNESS started shooting this week and Robert De Niro flew into Massachusetts just for that. Unfortunately, news is that Robert De Niro has left the movie due to “creative differences.” EDGE OF DARKNESS was to star De Niro aside Mel Gibson, but now it looks as if a new actor is goig to have to be found in a hurry. Until a replacement is found (Is there really a replacement for Robert De Niro?) the plan is for the team to shoot around the currently uncasted character. Hopefully a replacement can be found quickley because I am pumped for Mel Gibson’s return to the big screen as an actor!

Being as nosey as I am…I want to know what the creative differences were! Maybe DeNiro’s ego got to big for the movie…I like his acting, but he seems quite pompous!! As for Mel…he can act in anything and bring forth an audience of pleased fans! Maybe Mel’s known practical jokes were too much for DeNiro!
or maybe…Robert was jealous and intimated by Mel’s amazing good looks! Got hotness??? Get a Mel fix!
