Do HAROLD & KUMAR have Christmas plans?

Hold on to your White Castle, our favorite stoner duo since Cheech and Chong could be back in time for Christmas. In an interview with Collider from the set of ABC’s “Flash Forward,” actor John Cho stated that A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR CHRISTMAS could be in theaters as soon as this holiday season, with filming planned for June.

Our hopes seemed dashed when Kal Penn left acting to work for the Obama administration. But you can’t stay mad at him when he’s doing the most good for our country. There is no word if Penn will be reprising his role in the Christmas flick. It leads us to wonder, could the franchise survive if Penn were replaced? We’d like to think not.

According to Cho, the film will be in the holiday classic style and pick up a few years after the events of HAROLD & KUMAR ESCAPE FROM GUANTANAMO BAY with the duo estranged. Neil Patrick Harris is set to return as well.
