Exclusive Video Interview: We sat down with one of the stars from THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS

If that title led you to believe this was an interview with George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges, or Kevin Spacey then I must apologize. While all four of those men are phenomenal actors and some of the greatest, there is yet another great actor that stars in the film THE MEN WHO STARES AT GOATS. That actor is Peanut the goat, for without, the film would simply be called THE MEN WHO STARE. And who wants to watch 93 minutes of men in a staring contest? I don’t care how dashing Clooney is or how much boyish charm McGregor has, that film would be as bland as the molasses cookies that seem to be Peanut’s favorite delicacy.
Instead, what you have is a performance so powerful that it could sweep this years Animal Academy Awards…if they existed. It rivals that of Lassie’s in LASSIE and Old Yeller in OLD YELLER. Some even say that Peanut could be the next Marlon Brando or James Dean, with the possibility of crossing over into human roles a very likely dream.
Ever since his first appearance on screen as the goat who serves as a happy meal for the Tyrannosaurus in JURASSIC PARK, Peanut has taken the animal acting world by storm. His dedication to his characters, his depth, his emotion he shows on screen. All top-notch. His performance in THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS is no different.
Check out our exclusive interview with Peanut after the jump to gain insight into the process of this often reserved actor and his craft.
