Bloody Disgusting has gotten their hands on the first three photos of the Paul Scheuring’s THE EXPERIMENT, which is a remake of Oliver Hirschbiegels’ DAS EXPERIMENT. These photos feature Adrien Brody, Forest Whitaker, and Cam Gigandet. Our other major cast members include Elijah Wood, Clifton Collins Jr., and Maggie Grace.

THE EXPERIMENT follows a group of ordinary men who get recruited to take on the roles of guards and prisoners as an experiment and research study. The experiment is designed to see how power and control effects the participants.

Not sure how many of you know this, but DAS EXPERIMENT was based on a true story. In 1971, Professor Philip Zimbardos went forth with his “Stanford Prison Experiment,” but it ended after only six days because things got way out of hand.

I’m very curious how true the remake is going to stay to the original, and just how much they’ll up the story itself. We shall find out sometime next year when the film opens! In the meantime, check out the stills after the jump!
