First Look: Steve Carell and Paul Rudd in DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS
This just in. Brick Tamland and Brian Fantana are reuniting next summer in DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS, the latest comedy from MEET THE PARENTS director Jay Roach. SCHMUCKS is currently filming but that didn’t stop Carell and Rudd from giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the film, as well as a few tidbits on the hilarity that will ensue July 23rd of next year when the film hits theaters.
SCHMUCKS tells the story of a businessman (Rudd) who attends a dinner in which everyone invited must bring the most moronic person they can find (Carell). Unfortunately for Rudd’s character, he may have bitten off more than he can chew, as anyone who comes in contact with Carell’s character has their life virtually ruined in a matter of a few days. The film also stars Zach Galifianakis (THE HANGOVER), Ron Livingston (OFFICE SPACE), and Bruce Greenwood (STAR TREK).
