First official photos of ROBIN HOOD’s Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett
Courier-Mail has just released six exclusive photos of Ridley Scott’s adaptation of ROBIN HOOD. After viewing these, I’m still not convinced this will be better than PRINCE OF THIEVES, but I’m almost certain this will be a lot bloodier with Ridley Scott behind the camera. I’m definitely getting the GLADIATOR vibe. There’s no official synopsis yet, but it’s Robin Hood, so you know, you should already know this story by now (kings hate him, women love him, and he steals from the rich and gives to the poor).
The ROBIN HOOD cast includes Russell Crow (Robin Hood), Cate Blanchett (Maid Marian), Danny Huston (King Richard), William Hurt (William Marhshall), Matthew Macfadyen (Sherrif of Nottingham), Mark Strong (Sir Godfrey), and Vanessa Redgrave (Queen Eleanor).
