First official trailer for Ridley Scott’s ROBIN HOOD
Earlier today, we featured some new photos from Ridley Scott’s ROBIN HOOD, which showed us what the movie will look like, but not what it will feel like. That’s what the trailer is for. Needless to say, after watching it, this isn’t your parents’ ROBIN HOOD. There is a definite, as Chase put it, “GLADIATOR vibe” going on, but that’s not a bad thing. It simply means that Scott and Russell Crowe are bringing back the great action and violence that made GLADIATOR so damn entertaining.
The movie tells the classic tale that we all know of the hero Robin Hood (Russell Crowe) going up against the tyrannical Sheriff of Nottingham (Matthew Macfadyen) to bring peace to the people he is oppressing. Expect the movie to hit theaters on May 14th of next year.
