First peek at Scar Jo as IRON MAN 2’s Black Widow
With Comic Con but a week away, geeks and nerds everywhere are kicking into overdrive. Entertainment Weekly knows this, and has thus dedicated their next issue to a massive Comic Con preview, featuring an IRON MAN 2 cover story. The cover features Robert Downey, Jr. in the trademark Iron Man suit, Scarlett Johansson looking feisty in black leather, and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash looking…dirty.
For the uninitiated, Black Widow is a Marvel character who has been around since the mid-60s, appearing in just about every major comic book series Marvel created. She first appears as a Soviet baddie, eventually switching sides and joining the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. I am interested to see this live-action incarnation of the Widow, and how it might tie into the eventual AVENGERS film.
