First poster for THE SWITCH
Last week, I graced you all with the very first trailer for the upcoming Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman vehicle, THE SWITCH. The project's name change (from its previously evocative title, THE BASTER) seemed to imply that the film's marketing was going to be a little more shy when it came to revealing the major plot point of Bateman's character switching out a donor's sperm bound for Aniston's womb with his own. Guess I was wrong!
This first poster for THE SWITCH gleefully shows Bateman peering down the business end of a donor cup, with Aniston looking pretty shocked up top. "The most unexpected comedy ever conceived"? Well, I wouldn't go that far, but this poster certainly continues THE SWITCH's newly-established tradition of utterly confounding me. Is it a goofball comedy? Or are these oversaturated stills of Aniston and Bateman supposed to convey more realism? I still just don't know.
