Who has great facial hair, a J. Crew credit card, hilarious comedic delivery, and a talent for playing multiple musical instruments? If you answered me, I appreciate it, but I can’t play an instrument.
The correct answer I was looking for was either A) Jason Schwartzman B) Zach Galifianakis or C) All the above.
And it just so turns out that these two lovely gentlemen are starring in a new TV show together, coming September 20th to HBO. It’s called BORED TO DEATH and you may have heard of it, seeing as how we first brought you word of it back in June.
The show, described as a “noir-otic comedy,” tells the story of a writer and alcoholic (Schwartzman) that decides to moonlight as a private investigator because he is literally bored to death with his life. Zach Galifianakis co-stars as Schwartzman’s best friend Ray, a comic book writer. The show also stars Ted Danson, Kristen Wiig, Patton Oswalt, Parker Posey, Oliver Platt, John Hodgman (PC from those lovable Mac commercials), and more!
