In a very cool turn of events, Mr. Gordon (and the Whale) Levitt has uploaded the flip side of our interview from CineVegas for (500) DAYS OF SUMMER, featuring me filming him with an appropriately titled Flip video.

    Here’s Joe’s instructions:

“James released his RECord; here’s my side. Who’s gonna cut them together?

Calling all video editors! This is exactly what hitRECord.org can hopefully do. Here’s my raw footage. The other side was released a few days ago. So there’s two Resources. Let’s reRECord them into a Result…”

You heard the man! Head on over to Joe’s site hitRECord.org, download the video (or RECords) from both angles (Joe filming me, me filming Joe), and get to remixing (the state of taking one’s art and re-editing it, taking it to another level that the original artist may have never imagined or intended, ultimately giving the piece no end or beginning in its life)! Play around, have fun, experiment in deconstructing the traditional ideas of press, interviews, red carpets, our celebrity-obsessed culture, etc. We do what we can with the content to achieve this deconstruction…now you do what you can with the editing to help!

And continue to support great sites like hitRECord.org that do what they can to push the boundaries of art and social media!
