Jack Black wants to BUST GHOSTS
Jack Black will soon be making you laugh through his neanderthal antics in YEAR ONE, come June 19. The director of the Stone Age comedy happens to be none other than Harold Ramis, who is best remembered for his acting in the fantastic GHOSTBUSTERS films. Ramis is already set to star in the soon-to-be-made sequel, alongside Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson. Jack Black loves the GHOSTBUSTERS franchise, and decided to use his time on the YEAR ONE set as a platform to campaign to Ramis for a role in the follow-up. If Ramis wants Black, then he just might be in luck, as Ramis is currently on the short list to direct the film. Could Jack Black fit into this franchise? (and, no, that is not a fat joke.)
“Could I see myself in it? Yeah, I can bust some ghosts! I ain’t afraid of no ghosts! Buster.”
I am so ready for a GHOSTBUSTERS sequel, though I am extremely nervous of a flop. I’m not sure whether I think Black would aid to aid the film or sink it. I love Jack Black, but I’m not sure he fits in the GHOSTBUSTERS world. What do you guys think?
