James Caan and Vera Farmiga join HENRY’S CRIME
Vera Farmiga and James Caan have signed on to be a part of HENRY’S CRIME, a romantic comedy about a sweet-natured man (played by Keanu Reeves) who is wrongly accused of robbing a bank.
The HENRY’S CRIME screenplay is by Sacha Gervasi, who recently directed the documentary, ANVIL! THE STORY OF ANVIL, about a devoted a rock band who never quite made it. He also wrote the screenplay for Steven Spielberg’s THE TERMINAL.
Malcom Venville is attached to direct HENRY’S CRIME. Venville’s only feature film up to this point is 44 INCH CHEST, which is about an upset husband who, with the help of his friends, tries to kidnap his wife’s lover. 44 INCH CHEST has not been released in the United States yet, but should be shortly.
Vera Farmiga played the psychologist caught in a love triangle with Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio’s characters in THE DEPARTED, and recently appeared as the frantic mother in the bad-kid horror film ORPHAN. Farmiga will be playing Reeves’ love interest in HENRY’S CRIME. James Caan’s character has not yet been reported.
