James Franco to star in Danny Boyle’s 127 HOURS
Since SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE came out, people have been going crazy over what Danny Boyle's next project might be. Awhile back, it was confirmed to be 127 HOURS, the true story of mountaineer Aron Rolston, who amputated his own arm to free himself from a boulder that landed on him.
Since that confirmation, there's been the lingering issue of who would play Rolston. Thanks to Production Weekly's Twitter, we now know.
James Franco will portray Rolston in Boyle's surefire success. Production Weekly also lets us know that filming will begin in March, and the film will be shot in Utah.
Franco is extremely talented, and with Boyle directing, I feel very confident in this one. Even the plot of the movie sounds like such a good match for Boyle. I think this could be a really big movie for Franco, and I can't wait to see him in the role. Keep your eyes out for this one, I think it is gonna be big.
