January Jones joins Nicolas Cage in THE HUNGRY RABBIT JUMPS
January Jones, who plays the suppressed blond bombshell housewife Betty Draper on the hit TV show “Mad Men,” has just signed on to star opposite Nicolas Cage in THE HUNGRY RABBIT JUMPS. Jones will play the wife of Cage’s character.
THE HUNGRY RABBIT JUMPS follows a man (Cage) who is hell bent on revenge after a crime is committed against his wife. He gets in deeper than he first thought, when he hires a vigilante group to help him take revenge.
The budget for RABBIT JUMPS is $30 million, with Endgame’s James Stern, Tobey Maguire, Jenno Topping (Maguire Entertainment), and Ram Bergman (BRICK, STRANGER THAN FICTION) producing. RABBIT JUMPS starts shooting in early December. Jones has a full plate these days, as she will also be filming UNKNOWN WHITE MALE, starring Liam Neeson, immediately after RABBIT JUMPS, kicking off in late January 2010.
