Jason Segal’s name is in THE ADVENTURER’S HANDBOOK
Funny man Jason Segal, who last charmed audiences with his awesome dudeness in the bromance I LOVE YOU, MAN, has signed on to Jonah Hill and Max Winkler’s THE ADVENTURER’S HANDBOOK. This is great news for a comedy that I already have very high hopes for. Jonah Hill and Jason Schwartzman were already signed on to star as two of the film’s four main characters. With the addition of Segal, HANDBOOK is in need of only one more comic. THE ADVENTURER’S HANDBOOK is “about four 20-something guys, who inspired by a book of the same name, set out overseas in search of a mysterious location described in the book.” It won’t be for kids, though, as it’s set to “be an edgy, broad R-rated comedy.”
Road trip comedies are usually a lot of fun, but when you have a good story and comedic actors of the caliber of these three, you have a hit. So far this movie is doing well in the assembly of cast, we’ll have to wait and see if it complements through its storyline.
