Jennifer Carpenter joins HUNGRY RABBIT JUMPS
Hot on the heels of the “Dexter” finale comes news that Jennifer Carpenter, known as Dexter’s kid sister Debra (and the wife of Michael C. Hall in real life. Weird, I know!), has joined the cast of the film HUNGRY RABBIT JUMPS. The cast already includes the likes of Nicolas Cage, Guy Pearce, and January Jones.
The indie thriller centers on a teacher (Cage) who takes the law into his own hands by joining a vigilante group after his wife (Jones) is brutally attacked. Carpenter will play the role of the wife’s best friend.
Carpenter is no stranger to this type of film, as she has previously had starring roles in films such as THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE and QUARANTINE.
Directed by Roger Donaldson, HUNGRY RABBIT JUMPS is currently in production with Tobey Maguire producing. Carpenter will next be seen opposite John Cusack in THE FACTORY in 2011.
