    Jessica Biel

Jessica “The Body” Biel is set to star in the big screen adaptation of the popular 80s TV show THE A-TEAM, alongside Bradley Cooper, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Sharlto Copley, and Liam Neeson. Biel recently sat down with MTV to talk about the film and her character Carissa Sosa, a member of the Department of Defense after the rogue special forces unit turned soldiers of fortune. Biel also hinted that her character was an old flame to one of the members of the team, but did not specify which one, only saying that they are not necessarily romantically involved within the film. My guess is it’s not Liam Neeson. Just saying.

Biel also said that, when it comes to the tone of the film, we can expect less camp and more straightforward action mixed with a lot of humor. That was to be expected, considering the fact that the film is directed by Joe Carnahan, who helmed the similarly toned SMOKING ACES, as well as the darker, more dramatic NARC.

When asked about the potential of a cameo or two from members of the original A-TEAM, Biel had this to say: “I don’t know about [possible cameos] actually. Up to my knowledge at this point no,” adding her sentiment to the idea of a Mr. T cameo “That would be great. I can’t imagine that people wouldn’t want to see him. When you think of A-Team you think of Mr. T, so that’d be great. I don’t know about it though.”

A Mr. T cameo would be great and all but it’s a given. I’d like to see one by Henchmen #4 from Episode #7 of Season #2. Seeing his lifeless body fall off that rooftop after he was killed by a throwing knife makes me all nostalgic for the 1980s.

As a side note, if you don’t know why they call her “The Body,” then Google image search her name and you will be learned real fast.
