John Krasinski’s BRIEF INTERVIEWS WITH HIDEOUS MEN gets distribution
John Krasinski's directorial debut BRIEF INTERVIEWS WITH HIDEOUS MEN, which is based on a book written by the late David Foster Wallace, premiered at this year's Sundance and hasn't moved much since then - that is, until now.
IFC just bought the U.S. distribution rights to the film, which will release in theaters September 25 and for a limited time on V.O.D. (video on demand).
BRIEF INTERVIEWS stars Julianne Nicholson as Sara Quinn - grad student and broken-hearted - who decides to cope with her love woes by conducting interviews with several men. Those men include: Will Arnett, Dominic Cooper, Bobby Cannavale, Timothy Hutton, Christopher Meloni, Max Minghella, and Ben Shenkman.
The film was also written by Krasinski, who shared producing duties with Eva Kolodner, Yael Melamede, James Suskin, and executive producer Kevin Connors.
Eat your heart out, Michael Scarn.
