Val Kilmer and Nicolas Cage are starring together in Werner Herzog’s update of Abel Ferrara’s 1992 film Bad Lieutenant. Cage will be playing the crooked lowlife druggie cop and Kilmer will be playing his partner. Rapper Xzibit will be playing their enemy “Big Fade “and Eva Mendes has a role in it as well. The original movie focused on a corrupt New York City police detective, with a serious drug and gambling addiction who is trying to change his ways and find forgiveness while investigating a young nun’s rape.
