Lindsay Lohan to star in Charles Manson film
Lindsay Lohan has faded in and out of the public eye for the past year, but since her recent stint in rehab, she seems to be getting serious about her career, and filmmakers are taking notice. Producer Brad Wyman has just informed MTV that he has chosen Lindsay Lohan to star as in his upcoming film entitled Manson’s Girls. Lohan will play Nancy Pitman, a devoted member of Manson’s “family.” The film will focus on Manson’s California Commune and the five murders that the Manson clan is known for, including the deaths of music producer Terry Melcher and actress Sharon Tate.
Charles Manson’s story has been told before in The Manson Family and, my personal favorite, The Manson Family Movies. Keeping an audience captivated while telling such a familiar story could prove to be very difficult; hopefully Wyman is up for the challenge.
