The DVD for HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE won’t hit shelves until December, but details of its content has already started to find its way onto the internet. The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), which is in charge of rating movies in England, has released a list of eight deleted scenes that will be included on the HALF-BLOOD PRINCE DVD.

The eight scenes will total 6 minutes and 31 seconds, and will be perfect for all the Potter-heads out there who didn’t think the original cut of the movie was long enough. Also included on the DVDs will be an 11 minute feature “on the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park currently under construction in Orlando, Florida,” which I doubt many people care about. Keep reading for a full list of the deleted scenes.

    • And yet nothing to add to the revelation of Snape as the Half-Blood Prince is my guess. Ah well, glad for more scenes. I think this movie out of all of them made me feel I was missing so much more than I got from the books. I almost wish this one had been given the two film treatment that Deathly Hallows is getting.
