LOS ANGELES: Attend @GandtheW and @OscopeLabs’ Special Fangirl Screening of BELLFLOWER

It's no secret around these parts that we here at Gordon and the Whale are big fans of Evan Glodell's barn-burner of a festival favorite, BELLFLOWER. Billed as "a love story with apocalyptic stakes", the film is also mind-blowingly original and inventive, but with real heart at its center. The film captivated all of us at Sundance and SXSW, which is why we're so excited that it's hitting screens on August 5. But I am even more excited to give our Los Angeles readers a chance to check the film out at a very "Special Fangirl Screening" at LA's own wonderful New Beverly Cinema on August 2 at 7:30PM.

This is going to be a very special and very fun screening, and we're exploding with excitement that we are a part of the event hosted by Oscilloscope Laboratories, along with scream queen Danielle Harris and dear friend o' the Whale, Movieline's own Jen Yamato. This screening will feature all the bells and whistles (and, uh, flamethrowers) that fans of the film have come to expect - writer/director/star Evan Glodell will be there, along with "the beautiful women of BELLFLOWER" (there's a bunch), and the most beautiful of all the BELLFLOWER ladies - the infamous Medusa (she's hell on wheels).

Find out how to RSVP for the the screening after the break!

Got ya! RSVP directions are on that fiery invite up top, but I thought I'd clarify them for you here. Just like love itself, RSVP is murky and can lead to explosions and blood loss.

To RSVP for this Special Fangirl Screening, just send an email to RSVP@oscilloscope.net, letting them know your name, the number of guests you plan to bring, and where you saw this invite (Gordon and the Whale!). Please note: seating is on a first come, first served basis, and this invite and your RSVP do not guarantee you a seat. So get there early!
