Lucy Punch joins the cast of BAD TEACHER
Lucy Punch isn’t a well recognized name, but if she looks only slightly familiar in the picture above, that’s because you’ve probably seen her in something, such as the roll of the ditzy actress in HOT FUZZ. If you’ve never seen her before, that’s gonna change real soon. As we noted a few weeks back, her name is going to appear in the credits of a lot of upcoming movies and she’s keeping busy by adding one more to her schedule.
The young British actress has just joined the cast of the Cameron Diaz dark comedy, BAD TEACHER, but the two aren’t going to be friends. Punch will play Amy Squirrel, the school’s model teacher who will be the perfect nemesis for Diaz, “a foul-mouthed, conniving seventh-grade teacher who pursues a colleague after being dumped by her sugar daddy.”
I doubt this will make Lucy Punch a household name, but, along with all her other projects, it certainly won’t hurt. BAD TEACHER is being directed by Jake Kasdan and is set to begin filming next month in LA.

Every time I see her picture, I have to look her up again… She's from “The Class” (the short lived sitcom). You gotta mention that from now on, for my own sanity!
