Mark Wahlberg says “Entourage” movie is a possibility
The idea of a movie based on “Entourage” doesn’t really appeal to me. I suppose the show is like “Sex and the City” for dudes, but I’ve never seen an episode, despite it having noteworthy stars like Adrian Grenier and Jeremy Piven. I’m guessing the film would be like the male equivalent of the SEX AND THE CITY movie (and we all know the world NEEDS another one of those), but this is all just speculation.
At the premiere of THE LOVELY BONES, Mark (you’ll always be Marky Mark to me) Wahlberg was pulling double duty by promoting the film which he stars in, and also representing “Entourage” as its executive producer. Wahlberg says that a movie based on “Entourage” is a possibility. The show is under contract for two more seasons, but according to Wahlberg, “there could be more. But then, a movie.” It’s not much, but it’s something, people.
Anyhow, my guess is that the film would center on some life-changing event, like a wedding, and there will be some wacky road trip or vacation, because isn’t that what usually happens in a feature film based on television series?
