Mondo celebrates Wes Craven with new director’s series featuring prints for SCREAM and A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
Wes Craven will be the latest director to be canonized in Mondo’s director’s series, an ever-growing collectible art print series featuring various directors’ most famous works.
The first two Wes Craven prints represent perhaps his most celebrated films: SCREAM and A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. Check out the prints after the break.
Craven had this to say about the new prints:
"It's an honor and great fun to be chosen by Mondo to participate in their Director's Series. I think the posters brim with wild imagination and sly humor. Thank you so much - I'm pleased my films have earned a place in your gallery!"
Both prints were created by artist Alex Pardee (his past Mondo prints include “Basketcase” and “Tremors”) and measure 16” x 24”. Both “Scream” and “A Nightmare On Elm Street” will cost $35 and have a relatively small run of 140. These prints will be for sale on Thursday, April 14th at a random time; make sure to follow Mondo on Twitter for the sale announcement.
If these two films aren’t your cup of tea, fear not: Mondo is continuing this series with prints for THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT, SWAMP THING, and THE HILLS HAVE EYES. We’ll keep you updated as details on these posters are announced.
