More FAST & FURIOUS films happening?
This is a world of sequels now.
Apparently, the many sequels getting turned out over the years have turned me into an ancient mariner who has no choice but to lead this article with such a solemn phrase. Just the way it is.
Vin Diesel, star of the original THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS, and the most recent, FAST & FURIOUS, posted on his Facebook fan page (found via Cinema Blend) recently, and it sounds like two more FAST & FURIOUS films are happening.
Diesel said, "If 2009's FAST AND FURIOUS was chapter one, what writer Chris Morgan just delivered is Chapter 2 and chapter 3." Diesel obviously means two more films in the franchise. Diesel also wrote in his post, "I have never been submitted a two story saga from a studio before... it is very exciting, and shows a commitment level that is hard not to respond to."
Most importantly, it does seem likely that we will be getting a shirtless Diesel in these films. "Excited about the sexy locations the filming of this sag...", was also written in the post. "Sexy locations" likely means beaches, sun, and a shirtless Vin.
So two more FAST & FURIOUS films, ehhhh, they can be fun, whatever. This FAST & FURIOUS sequel news doesn't really make feel upset or excited, just indifferent. It's hard to get fired up either way about this particular franchise. What about you? Feel any different?
