For Empire Magazine’s 20th birthday issue, they got together an impressive handful of actors and photographed them in one of the greatest roles they’ve ever done. Most of these films are timeless and will be talked about forever.

I’ve been looking at these photos for the last hour frozen. They are insanely beautiful and the last 26 years of my movie watching life has just resurfaced. Thank you Empire, I’m now in love with you.

Check out every photo after the jump, and click on the image to see the full resolution size. From what I read, the photo of Jack Nicholson is supposed to represent ABOUT SCHMIDT. I don’t know about that. Either way, every single one of these photos are kick-ass!

I'm 100% positive the Jack picture is "as good as it gets".

I'm pretty sure the Jack picture is supposed to be a take on the Here's Johnny moment from The Shinning, not About Schmidt...
    • Bubba Joe
It's Christian Bale though he does look a little like Ethan Hawke with a goatee. The last Schwarzenegger pic is more Dutch from Predator than the Terminator.
    • at 60-something Schwartzenegger still looks like a badass!
    • john
that is ethan hawke not christian bale
    • I'm 100% certain that's not Ethan Hawke.
    • Chase, that is CLEARLY Ethan Hawke reliving his most famous role from CHOPPED & SCREWED: THE STORY OF PAUL BUNYAN
    • Maura
      Haha!
