The new trailer has went up for High School Musical 3. The first two movies were huge, so this one gets the royal Disney treatment by being released in theaters. You can tell just from the trailer that a lot more was put into the production and such.

The third chapter finds Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) as seniors in high school struggling with the idea of being separated from one another as college approaches. Along with the rest of the Wildcats, they stage a spring musical to address their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.

The film features returning cast members Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, Bart Johnson, and many more. It’s directed by Kenny Ortega, who actually did the first two movies as well. The script was written by Peter Barsocchini, who also wrote the first two.

It is scheduled to hit theaters on October 24th.
