New PAPER MAN poster most likely made of paper
The Los Angeles Film Festival opened last night with a bold choice for its kickoff gala event – PAPER MAN, a film currently without a distributor. PAPER MAN stars Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Daniels, and is “the coming-of-middle-age story of Richard Dunn, a writer caught between the pressures of deadlines, the expectations of his wife, and the constant presence of the superhero who’s lived inside his head since 2nd Grade. And then he meets a girl—a Long Island teenager whose friendship shows him that no matter how much it hurts, it’s never too late to grow up.”
The poster really clears up some confusion for me – it’s REYNOLDS who is the superhero, not Daniels. My disappointment in this bold casting choice is mild, but still very present in my heart.
PAPER MAN also has a very solid supporting cast – it includes Emma Stone, Kieran Culkin, Hunter Parrish, and Lisa Kudrow.
Until they procure a distributor, PAPER MAN is flying (or biking) without a release date, but I’ll be sure to stay on top of it and report back with any fresh information.
