Simon Pegg is in a new movie called How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. It’s adapted from writer Toby Young’s memoir of the same name about his terrible times at Vanity Fair. The title sounds good not to mention Simon taking the lead, but the plot is very similar to a hit movie a few years back (Devil Wears Prada anyone?). Also starring: Kirsten Dunst (love interest), Jeff Bridges (big bad boss editor), Megan Fox (eye candy), Gillian Anderson (taking a break from Mulder I guess), and Danny Huston. THe trailer may have not been cut very good, but this doesn’t seem to be very funny. I hope Simon doesn’t jump in the realm of chick-flick style comedies. His R-rated material has worked for him best so far. This long title of a movie comes out October 3rd.
