New TRON: LEGACY trailer, straight from Comic Con
The sequel to TRON is quickly becoming one of the most hotly anticipated geek movies of 2010. While we’re a solid 5 months from its release, it seems like I’ve written something about TRON: LEGACY a few times a week all year.
Well, I’m here to continue the trend. Our friends over at Fanboyz.net were at Comic Con and got to see the new trailer at its premiere. Now, Yahoo Movies has the trailer for your viewing pleasure. Check it out, after the jump!
Comic Con is one hell of an event. A lot of studios see it as a way to market directly to thousands of fans while maintaining a certain atmosphere of exclusivity. It really is a unique convention, especially due to the sheer amount of star power some of these panels have. Jeff Bridges himself was in attendance for the panel.
Jeff Olsen from Fanboyz.net was in the audience in Hall H and had this to say from his 140 character tweet:
#TRON: LEGACY is going to be wicked. The 8 minutes we just watched were really great. 3D looks amazing, action is badass.
I don’t know about you, but I’m stoked to see this movie! What’s really bringing me down is the time between now and its release date. Unfortunately, we’ve got quite a while until TRON: LEGACY will grace our local cineplex. To keep us satisfied, I assume we’ll get plenty of trailers and promo material over the coming months.
